Logical Rules of Conduct for Events

For those who've missed it on the forums, logical rules of conduct for events:

- No fighting. Playing is one thing, but if it gets too harsh, do it on your own time. We don't need the law involved in our outings.

- Try not to verbally fight with people. It happens when people disagree and need to cross swords a bit, but there's a logical limit. If you've got a beef with someone, take it to messengers when you get home, or just pull them aside.

- Mind your hentai. OVA is not a bar. If you come to events with the intent on being a creeper, go away.

- Don't bring illegal stuff with you. If you do cocaine (c-c-c-yeaaahhh) or smoke rocks or any of the sort, leave it at home. This also includes weapons. Wood is fine, and there's nothing wrong with an emergency utility knife, as long as you keep it put away. But don't bring a gun or a sword to the events. Remember that authorities could be by at any time to check on our events, if a weapon is found, there will be big trouble for everyone.

- Please don't smoke inside our events. Although this may suck, some people can be allergic to cigarette smoke, and generally, nonsmokers don't want to go home smelling like smoke and getting interrogated by their folks. If you desperately need a smoke, please stay far away/off downwind of the event until you're finished.

- Unsolicited/unrelated advertising, again, is not tolerated. Speak to the leadership before advertising stuff.

- Don't be a cheat. We run games, raffles and more, and cheating to win will result in your losing the game, amongst other things.

- Don't be disruptive. Don't get in people's way, don't annoy them, don't scream all the time, and this rule applies especially to the norms. Oftentimes, we will be in public places where there are other people who've also come outside to relax or have fun. We can have fun without ruining their's and looking like a bunch of jerks.

- Along with that, if you bring music, don't blare it out. We're in public, and business picnics don't want to hear the Caramelldansen on loop at 110 decibels. If you're asked to turn it down, please do so.

- If someone needs help with something, and you're capable of doing it at the time, help them out. Whether this be moving a picnic table, or helping to maintain order during a game.

- Excessive amounts of swearing. Our main member base is old enough to handle it, but we may have children at the event, and it would be prudent to curb your language slightly while they're around.
- Do not bring any pets. As with smoking, people may be allergic to your animal, or simply don't want weird greasy hair stuck to their clothes. A bunch of strangers running around will certainly spook it, meaning that you're simply torturing your pet. It may also choose to be sociopath and attack someone. No pets.

Above all, use your head. These are all logical. If you don't work to disrupt the events, everything will run fine and there will be no problems.
If you come across any violations, or are simply bothered by something during an event, be sure to speak to any of the leadership and we'll inspect it.
